Peptide Filler – natural volume and skin rejuvenation without traditional fillers
Peptide Filler – subtle volume and improved skin quality
Peptide Filler is an innovative injectable treatment that combines gentle volume enhancement, collagen stimulation and skin rejuvenation. The treatment is ideal for anyone who wants to soften nasolabial folds, reduce fine lines, improve skin firmness or restore some of the face’s lost fullness – without the noticeable increase in volume that traditional fillers can provide.
The treatment contains non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and biomimetic peptides, which together moisturise the skin and support its natural renewal processes.
Biomimetic peptides are small chains of amino acids that mimic the body’s own signalling molecules. They are used for their ability to stimulate skin cells and support the formation of collagen, which contributes to the skin’s firmness, elasticity and structure.
Unlike conventional fillers, where cross-linked hyaluronic acid remains in place and provides volume over a longer period, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid breaks down considerably faster. The aim of Peptide Filler is therefore not only to plump up the skin, but also to improve its quality and support the skin’s own collagen production.
We recommend two treatments, approximately one month apart. After the first treatment, some of the initial volume often subsides. Based on our many years of clinical experience, we have found that the improvement in volume usually lasts longer after the second treatment, whilst the skin may gradually gain improved firmness and texture.
The result is a soft, natural-looking enhancement that does not alter the character of the face.
Peptide Filler is particularly suitable for treating nasolabial folds, sunken areas of the face, fine lines, horizontal neck wrinkles and certain types of acne scars. It may also be an option for selected areas under the eyes, following a specific medical assessment.

Peptide filler for nasolabial folds – an alternative to standard fillers
Nasolabial folds are the lines that run from the sides of the nose down towards the corners of the mouth. These folds often become more pronounced as the skin’s elasticity decreases and the facial tissues change with age.
Traditional fillers are a common treatment, but at NYOclinic we do not always recommend them as the first choice, particularly if the wrinkles are not very deep.
As the area around the mouth is constantly moving when we talk, smile and laugh, traditional fillers can sometimes result in overly pronounced plumping or change over time. We want to avoid creating a raised line along the nasolabial fold.
Peptide Filler is one of our popular options for nasolabial folds, as the treatment can provide a slight plumping effect whilst supporting the skin’s collagen production and improving its texture and firmness.
In cases of very deep nasolabial folds, where the problem is caused by a significant loss of volume, traditional fillers or other biostimulators may be a better option.
Sunken cheeks and hollows in the face
As we age, certain parts of the face can lose their natural fullness. This can, for example, result in sunken areas below the cheekbones and a narrower or more tired appearance.
Peptide fillers can be an option when you want to give these areas a little extra fullness without creating a noticeable increase in volume.
The treatment can also improve the skin’s quality and elasticity.

Under the eyes – alternatives to tear trough fillers
Traditional tear trough fillers can produce good results, but are not suitable for everyone. Cross-linked hyaluronic acid can sometimes remain in the skin for a long time and cause swelling, unevenness or unwanted volume.
For some patients, Peptid Filler may be an option when the aim is subtle filling and improved skin quality rather than a significant increase in volume.
However, the area under the eyes requires a particularly thorough medical assessment, and treatment must only be carried out where the product’s instructions for use permit it.
Horizontal neck wrinkles – ‘tech neck’
Horizontal neck wrinkles, also known as ‘tech neck’ lines, are common even among younger people.
Peptide fillers may be an option for softening fine lines whilst improving the skin’s firmness and texture.
As the skin on the neck is relatively thin, it is often preferable to use a soft filler that does not create visible lumps.
Fine lines and skin rejuvenation
Peptide fillers may also be an option for fine lines and the early signs of loss of skin elasticity.
The main focus here is on supporting the skin’s own collagen production, improving firmness and creating a more even complexion.
Acne scars and uneven skin texture
Peptide fillers may be an option for certain slightly indented acne scars, particularly when we wish to combine improved skin quality with a slight plumping effect.
In the case of deeper acne scars, however, a treatment that provides greater lifting may be required, such as traditional fillers or subcision.
In some cases, Peptide Filler may be used as a complement to subcision, although there are as yet insufficient studies on this particular combination.

When do we recommend traditional fillers or biostimulators instead?
Peptide Filler is best suited when we want to achieve a subtle increase in volume alongside skin improvement.
However, if you wish to enhance your cheekbones, reshape your chin or restore significant volume loss, we usually recommend traditional fillers or one of our collagen-stimulating biostimulators.
These treatments can provide a more noticeable increase in volume and often offer better value for money when volume is the main objective.
At NYOclinic in Gothenburg, we offer a range of filler treatments and biostimulators. We’ll help you find the option that best suits your preferences and the condition of your face.
