Nasolabial fold fillers involve injections into the folds that run between the nose and the corners of the mouth, often called “laugh lines” or “marionette lines”. The aim is to restore the volume of the skin, soften the lines, and give the face a more youthful and balanced appearance. The treatment is popular because it quickly restores softness and fullness, without surgery and with minimal recovery.

At NYO, we offer two different types of nasolabial fold fillers:

Classic filler (cross-linked hyaluronic acid). Best if you have significant volume loss or deeper lines. This filler restores lost volume and gives a marked lift to the area.
Light Filler (peptide filler with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid) Suitable for milder lines, for preventive treatment or if you want a more skin-improving effect. It contains biomimetic peptides that stimulate the skin's own regeneration, improving texture and reducing fine lines, while the hyaluronic acid moisturises and adds light volume. The result is very natural and improves skin quality over time.
For best results, treatment is often done twice, about a month apart. The effect can last up to 1.5-2 years.

Most people experience only mild discomfort. We always use anaesthetic ointment or filler with local anaesthetic.

Results are immediate and usually last 9-18 months depending on lifestyle and metabolism.

As with all injections, swelling, redness and bruising may occur. More unusual risks are bumps or infection. You will always be treated by medically certified staff with extensive experience.

Treatment with fillers is generally safe, but as with all injections, there are some risks to be aware of.
Common side effects are transient but may include:

Swelling, redness and bruising around the treated area
Temporary soreness or slight pressure/wound sensation
Less common, but possible risks:
lumps, bumps or asymmetry (can usually be adjusted)
Infection at the injection site (avoided by good hygiene and proper aftercare)
Allergic reaction to the filler (very rare)
