Buccal massage

Connective Tissue & Buccal Massage in Gothenburg

Natural facelift from within

Are you looking for a natural, non-invasive treatment in Gothenburg that can reduce facial tension, improve contours and at the same time work deep into the connective tissue?

Our combination of connective tissue massage and buccal massage (intraoral massage) is an advanced manual treatment that works both externally and from inside the mouth to release tension in muscles and fascia.

This is a treatment for those who want to stimulate the body's own structures - without creating inflammation or administering injections.

What is Buccal Massage?

Buccal massage (intraoral massage) is a technique in which the therapist works both externally and from inside the mouth. By reaching the muscles from two sides, it is possible to treat deep structures that are otherwise difficult to affect.

The treatment is specifically aimed at:

  • Masseter muscles
  • The deep musculature of the cheek
  • Fascia of the mid-face
  • Surrounding structures of the jaw joint

This makes it effective both for tension problems and for aesthetic improvements.

What is connective tissue and why is it important?

Fascia is the body's three-dimensional network that encloses muscles, nerves and blood vessels. In the face, the connective tissue can become over time:

  • Taut
  • Abbreviated
  • The collapse
  • Affected by stress or trauma

When the fascia becomes shortened or tense - often due to stress, teeth clenching or old muscle patterns - it can contribute to:

  • Reinforced nasolabial folds
  • Heavier midface
  • Reduced jaw definition
  • Swelling or so-called festoons

Connective tissue massage works to gently stretch, mobilise and stimulate these deeper structures.
