IDENEL Glassifier can be customised in two different levels depending on the skin's needs: a more gentle (balancing) and a more intensive (resurfacing) treatment.

The milder version is mainly used for inflammation and active acne, where the focus is on calming the skin, strengthening the skin barrier and improving skin balance. It is generally perceived as more gentle and less uncomfortable.

The intensive variant works more on skin structure, pores, fine lines and irregularities. Here, the skin is stimulated more actively, which often gives a clearer effect but can also be experienced as more tingling during the treatment.

The important thing to understand is that the difference is not in the amount of spicules, but in the formulation of active ingredients and how strongly the skin is stimulated. The choice of treatment is always made based on skin condition and treatment goals.

The skin may turn red for a few hours after treatment, but this usually subsides the same day. However, a tingling or “glassy” sensation may remain for up to 72 hours. The spicules gradually break down and the sensation becomes milder. It can be uncomfortable to touch the skin, difficult to apply make-up the next day and sore against the pillow the first night. We recommend sleeping on your back and avoiding pressure on the skin.

The treatment is not very painful, but it can be felt. It is experienced as a tingling or prickling sensation when the spicules are worked into the skin. Most people tolerate it without problems.

After treatment, you want to avoid using regular creams directly on the skin, as it can be sensitive. Instead, we recommend a soothing spray from the same range, which feels gentle and pleasant to apply.
