Lanluma Facial Treatment

LanLuma is an injection treatment that creates volume and firmer skin over time. It takes about 1 month to start seeing results, but continues to work for up to 6 months after the treatment. "Lanluma Face" comes in 15 ml containers that you put in specific areas for a full face rejuvenation.

The treatment aims to stimulate collagen production in the treated areas, improving the structure, firmness and overall appearance of facial skin.

While hyaluronic acid fillers are a more natural product as hyaluronic acid is found in our own skin, there are limitations to what it can do. It does not create firmer skin, no direct collagen stimulation. Lanluma provides more of a general increase in volume throughout the face and not pointwise like fillers. Another difference is that fillers with hyaluronic acid can be broken down directly if there are complications, which you cannot do with Lanluma. It is therefore important to choose a highly trained and experienced practitioner.

Lanluma is a further development of sculptra, you could say, because the same people who founded sculptra, started a new company with the product Lanluma after a few years. The mechanism is the same and also the content. However, Lanluma lasts about 1-2 years longer than sculptra.

The most long-lasting products for the face can last up to 3 years. These are usually collagen stimulators, such as Lanluma and Radiesse.

Yes, hyaluronic acid fillers or botulinum toxin injections (like Botox®) can be used with Lanluma to improve results even more. Some anti-aging products for the face work right away, but Lanluma's beautiful results take a little longer to show. 2. Cellulite: Due to Lanluma's ability to both create volume and stimulate collapse, it is effective against cellulite on the thighs and buttocks.
3. Bum/Hipdips: Lanluma is very popular as a body filler and creates beautiful plump results while looking very natural.
4. Upper arms: Lanluma can help with sagging skin and make the upper arms look better.

Lanluma Face is not a risk-free treatment. Remember to always book a consultation before treatment so we can inform you and go through all the risks with you. Lanluma is not reversible, which means that it cannot be removed in case of acute or late complications. Therefore, you should be fully aware of the risks before choosing the treatment. The most dangerous thing with Lanluma, as with all types of fillers, is if it were to end up inside vessels and create occlusion. We at Drnina.se have not experienced this before. We always perform the treatment with blunt cannula which reduces the risks of occlusion. In addition to this, there is a risk of small nodules forming. It is therefore important to follow the aftercare which means:

• Massage for 2 weeks after the treatment (we will go through on site how best to do this)
• No bath for 1 week after treatment
• No direct sun, sauna, solarium or spa for 48 hours after treatment
• No flying 1-2 weeks after treatment
• No exercise for 48 hours after treatment

Lanluma facials are relatively painless. Local anaesthetics are used to minimise discomfort.
