Gummy smile treatment in Gothenburg
Gummy smile treatment involves reducing the force of the muscles that pull the lips upwards, causing them to stop just above the tooth line. This can be done quickly and easily with controlled amounts of Botox, which has the mechanism of reducing the force on muscles.
The results of the treatment then come stealthily after a few days to a week.
What is gummy smile?
Gummy smile is an expression for a smile where a large part of the gums are visible. Gums means gums in English, and hence the name gummy smile.

- Avoid sunbathing (both sun and sunbed) for 24 hours

Gummy smile vs. LipFlip ; which treatment should I choose?
A lip flip treatment is usually recommended if you have a strong upper lip muscle, which folds up the upper lip when smiling. It leads to showing more of the lip when smiling, and the lip can help to hide a small part of the gums.
A lip flip treatment cannot correct a traditional gummy smile, and if this is your main concern, we recommend a gummy smile treatment instead.
